Sewing for Beginners with 3 types of curriculums – Tampa

Sewing for Beginners with 3 types of curriculums. You can choose from Sewing Apparel, Purse Making, and/or Interior Decor classes. You will learn to use a sewing machine, the equipment, how to hand sew, read patterns and put together garments you chose from each lesson. You will learn the basics then work your way up. No need to bring your own sewing machine. You will work on the machines in the studio. I will email you a sewing supply list and lesson plans which have the list of patterns that you will be working with. You choose one pattern from each lesson. Every lesson bring with you the pattern, fabric, notions, and sewing supplies.

Sewing Apparel Lesson Plan is as follows:
Lesson 1 – Draw string/elastic skirt or pants
Lesson 2 – Raglan sleeves
Lesson 3 – Long sleeve tunic
Lesson 4 – Tank top
Lesson 5 – Hoods
Lesson 6 – Invisible zipper
Lesson 7 – Princess seam & darts
Lesson 8 - Buttonholes & collars
Lesson 9 – Fly Front
Lesson 10 - Your Choice

Purse Making Lesson Plan is as follows:
Lesson 1 – Totes
Lesson 2 – Medium size bags
Lesson 3 – Small bags/Evening bags
Lesson 4 – Backpacks/Travel bags

Interior Decor (patterns vary per season)Lesson Plan is as follows:
Lesson 1 – Pillows
Lesson 2 – Sleeping bags/blankets
Lesson 3 – Organizers
Lesson 4 – Window Treatments
Lesson 5 – Vases or Boxes
Lesson 6 – Table ware
Lesson 7 – Holiday Décor

I have change my seating availability to private, one on one lessons. Students find it easier and less intimidating when they have studio and teacher to themselves. You choose the curriculum that interest you.

11am to 1pm
1:30pm to 3:30pm

I found it better not to put any start dates for the classes. When you're ready to start, you choose a time/day you want to start and I'll reserve that spot for you. However, no show, no call on classes will lose that reserved spot. You will have to reschedule for new date and time especially if seat becomes unavailable.
You will be working at your own pace. So if you need to miss a day and you can pick up where you ended at the last class as long as you call or email ahead.
