About Joy:

I hold a master's degree in computer science and have had extensive training and working experiences in computer science as a web application developer and software engineer with skills such as Java, SQL, HTML. I taught in high school, college, and church before, and people enjoyed my effective and easy-going way of teaching. It makes me very happy to see students make progress and success in reaching their goals of learning.

I also acquired good knowledge and skills in math (especially algebra) and physics through my years of studying, teaching, and working experiences. I used to help teenager students understand school materials, and with their homework and exams.

I have been practicing Tai Chi for more than twenty years. I enjoy to share with students the mind calming, mental relaxing, and physical strengthening experiences.

I speak, read, and write fluent Chinese, and have good skills to let students learn Chinese effectively with fun.
