In this highly visible role as a Claims Specialist, we look to your claims processing experience to help us achieve high levels of customer service excellence as you process member claims.
Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Research and make benefit determination for the processing of medicare member claims according to processing guidelines
  
• Maintain production and quality standards
  
• Investigate claims for required processing information.

  Role Essentials
  
  • High School Diploma
    
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in medical claims processing
    
  • Strong data entry skills required
    
  • Related work experience
    
  • Commitment to preserving confidentiality
    
  Must be able to work independently in a production based department and exhibit professionalism.
  
  Role Desirables
  
  • Medical terminology, CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding experience desired
    
    
    Reporting Relationships
    
    • You will report to a Frontline Leader. This area is under the leadership of the Claims Supervisor and Director.
